Separating males and females - housing question

If I don't have enough ducks for my drakes, I can just keep them separated, correct? How far apart do they need to be?

I’ve set up a jail, that I’m going to pop the males in during the day when they’re getting too frisky. Give the girls a break, though at the moment they’re quite quick and are giving them the runaround more often than not!

Yes, you can keep them separated. Put them in an area where everyone can see each other but just can't hurt the girls.

So the males can't reach through the fencing and grab the females.

Will they fight each other though? Or will they get along with each other, if they're that close?

they might so you might have to put up a fence parallel to the one you use to separate them.
