This year I wanted to grow Okra for the first time. I am in Texas. Because this is the first time with okra I bought Bonnie sprouts from Walmart. There is about 6 sprouts per small plastic pot. How do I break them up without hurting them? I am trying to get the highest yield possible and don't want to accidentally kill them if I destroy too many roots.

I noticed last year (with annoyance) that they started doing this instead of 6 packs. I think it will hurt them to separate, and the safest thing is to plant it intact and cut off the extras. I feel it's a rip off, so I found another source, a local greenhouse that puts one per container or per section of 6 pack.

Thanks! I find this a bit of a rip off too! I swear they did it individually until recently.
