Separation anxiety?

One of my little silkies was pretty close to my BO roo (whom I've just found a home for, can't have a roo). She really seems to miss him-just keeps circling the crate and chirping loudly.

Do you think she misses him?

i wouldnt doubt it if she misses him. I just rehomed a roo of mine as well because he was beating up his favorite hen, & now thats he's gone, she has attacked me a few times & now has partnered up with one of our other roos. i definately think that she missed your roo, especially if they were very close

It really is aweful. She is sitting on his perch (she NEVER did this when he was here), clucking softly to herself. It is soooo sad!

I don't think she is really missing the Roo. Chickens have pea size brains. I think it's more like the pecking order has been changed.
