Seperating My Flocks: ROO OR HEN and NOW...Delaware or Wyandotte???!!

Ok, I have flocks that Im trying to control with certain amount of Roos....I had a vicious roo, Big Daddy, and I took him from the main flock and put him alone....in a mini coop, so I put in a Roo (EE) all white in with my girls...I woudl rather a Roo that has alot of color, but My Ma gave me this guy and well Im keeping him...lol

so I put him, Anders in with my main flock, then since my Big Daddy (leghorn) was vicious I put him in the mini coop, but to do that I had to take my ee's out of there 10 of them, and put them in with my main flock...well I also had a Delaware in there...so I combined them into my main flock, which is my bigger coop/run.

I noticed that I have a Delaware which I THOUGHT WAS A HEN...trying to mount my hens....???? BUT ANDERS, MY EE...IS TRYING TO MOUNT MY DELAWARE.

SO WHAT IS MY DELAWARE? HEN OR ROO????

Oh gosh!!! ok, on a Delaware that has a rosecomb I cant tell....

Don't trust me - just looks rooish to me - I hope Speckledhen replies.

My Dels have single combs, I did not know Dels came in rosecomb. Could not see his comb well, but I think I see hackle feathers.

ETA: yeah, the hackles seem very long and pointy.

Ok, so maybe Im confused on Delawares....and Rosecombs....

where can I find good pictures....to learn?.....so this is a ROO for sure?....

I must be the Queen of roos!!!! On my first flock I bought 14 and I had 7 roos, then I hatched chicks and I hatched 10 and got 6 roos...then I hatched buffs, and out of 8 I had 5 roos....and I hatched this one egg for my Ma...and she says keep the chick....and its a DELAWARE ....ROO u all say...

That is a rooster, but I do believe that Delawares do not come in the rose comb variety? Speckledhen, correct me if I am wrong.

I could be wrong---it happens now and again--but that looks to me like a Columbian Wyandotte roo, that would explain the comb.

No it cant be a Columbian Wyandotte...we had about 20 Delawares, well my Ma did....I know they almost look alike, but a wyandotte has a stockier body and lower to the ground....Ive been looking for pictures of hens/roos with combs like this to find out what he was....thought it was a she...
