Weather says we will be getting snow this weekend. So hope the rest of you don't have the same weather guy.

We were supposed to get some next Monday/Tuesday..now it is supposed to be in the 60s..only in Ky..I am not ready for snow..save it for January!!!

Snow would be awesome if you were back in the 80s again!!!! I much prefer the cold weather to our hot, sticky heat all the time!! Just hope your electric bills aren't out of sight with the economy, I hear they are going to be horrible this winter. Mine is already at $200.00 a month lately and that is an average of $40.00 more than the normal for years and years. We are pretty conservative too, air on 75 all the time, fans off during the day...still that is really high to me, so keeping my fingers crossed for you colder states to not get socked with outrageous bills to keep warm

There was an article on the front page of our newspaper, yesterday I think, saying that natural gas heating bills should be lower this year - that's good news for lots of folks.

'Course, we are on Propane and already pre-bought our two tanks for winter, so we just hope the price doesn't drop below what we paid. So far we've always paid less than what the market price is at the time we'd have needed the fill (if that makes sense!) And having the heat paid for the whole winter is "priceless"

As for me, I'd trade our rain for some of your snow! We have rain today, flood warnings have already been issued. It's supposed to rain hard all night, and there's a 100% chance of rain tomorrow - might even be a bit much for a duck

I want to send out another block to 2 people, I know goldenluver is one but I'm not sure who the other one is. It's either Zookeeper on Calicokat. It's the ribbon block. Please let me know who you are. I really want to do this. I didn't like the block and goldenluver was honest and said it was weird

so please let me replace them. If I don't here from you I'll send out to goldenluver, calicokat and Zookeeper. This way I know I'm covered. Thanks girls.
