And I didn't feel her this morning. She probably busy running and playing. Something she hasn't been able to do for a while. Play away my sweet Sissy. Maybe she will pay me a visit later. I know I probably sund crazy but we have that kind of connection. Like a very close couple, they can feel their lost loved one when they are there. I did hear her snoreing from the place she slept most often last night. But it was breif. Really, i'm not crazy folks.

I have a shirt that a friend of mine gave me. It says "I love my big dog and my big dog loves me". Everybody that knows us knows that.

Anyway, good luck guessing. I haven't gotten anything yet either. Somebody was sending to Tennessee. Maybe it was me. I keep an eye out for the mail person. I have my incubator ready. My best one. The fan went out in my other one and my third is my hatching bator which has quail babies hatching now. I woke up to 1. I'm afraid that I will have more not hatch than will because I had alot of temp drops from the weather change and that fan going out. I actually have veins in some eggs I removed from some quail I processed. They hadn't laid them yet. Some don't even have the spots on them yet, they're just a light blue. They have veins. I just thought I would see what happens. Their going to freezer camp anyway.

Hey all

Obviously I'm new to posting and I just found the egg swap thread. It sounds fun, but I have some questions.

I have several different breeds so all of my eggs would be mixed. We hatched out 35 babies in July and they are all pretty. Some look pure and some might even be pure, but 99.5% of them would be mixed.

Is anyone interested in mutts?

Also, I have way too many chickens (hard to believe that is possible I know) so for now I really would be fine with just sending out some eggs, but don't really want any in return. I realize that kinda defeats the whole "swap" thing, but seriously, I do NOT need any more chickens right now

This was a long post just to ask if anyone would want some free mutt eggs. I am getting approximately 2 dozen a day of chicken eggs and 2 Pekin duck eggs a day. I can promise all are fertile. Its like a freaking Roman bath house out there.

Just found my other eggs on the porch some how. And it's 6:49. I don't know. Melissa what kind are they? The big are are a very dark color. Are they brown? They look red almost. And what's the small eggs? Thanks
