5 chicks under miss catalina so far, will post some pics later, she is so happy. Still 1 more day to go for 21 on the eggs too

Have you candled the eggs I sent? Was curious to know if they are viable or not. I candled yours tonight. They all look very good, lots of activity. The one i'm really curious about is the olive one and I cant see thru it! They are due to hatch on the 5th so I will post pics as soon as I can! Have a good night!

I have not candled yet. I only candle when I move them to the hatcher and I think this Saturday is day 18...I'll have to check my calendar when I get to work in the morning!

MaineGigi, I just checked my office calendar and this Saturday is day 18. Sorry about not getting right back to you, but I've been sick and stayed home and doing much better now!

I am sad to report that all my eggs from this swap and other swaps plus purchased eggs are not going to make it the plumber who was here fixing a leaky pipe unplugged the extension cord to my incubator to use the outlet and did not plug it back in when he was finished. I did not realize this until appx 48hrs later, I did plug it back in but I candled today and all have blood rings. I am done being mad.

I got my eggs yesterday. One was smashed but didn't get on the others because they were so well wrapped.

No problem, glad you are feeling better! I hear peeping coming from 2 of the eggs that you sent. Tomorrow (Friday 5th) is hatch date so they are right on time. The other eggs seem to be alive and well, will post pics as soon as they hatch! Can't wait, hubby thinks I'm nuts...I keep running out to the coop to check for progress!
