serama bantams

This is a mixed batch of bantam chicks with sebrights, bantam ee, japanese bantam, and seramas. If you look down in the middle that tiny yellow head is a serama from B class parents:

Less than half the size of the others and both japs and sebrights are quite tiny.

Not much of a size comparison but these are my 2 serama roos with one being silkied:

Another way to compare serama to regular chickens. here is a serama egg next to a store bought chicken egg.

Oh, they are cute. There are three size gradations, though, with the tiniest weighing less than a pound:

From what I understand, they don't breed true to size, though. So you don't really know what you'll get. I also understand that the Class A size, the tiniest, can be too small to breed.

I have half Seramas, and they're adorable. My tiniest hen is just over a pound.

Resurrecting the dead, lol!
Do I need a special insert to incubate serama eggs? I have some polish eggs in there now, as well as other big breeds. How much smaller are the Serama eggs than Polish eggs?

Hi I want to buy but how do I buy plz tell me how to buy thanks

There is a lady here on BYC that sells eggs. I live close enough I drove to her house to pick up mine, I got a dozen polish and 6+ serama (I'm watching the polish hatch right now) . you should check out buy sell trade, at the bottom of the forum
