Serama breed questions

I’m not quite sure how to word this actually, but I’ve got some questions about Seramas. I don’t know much about the breed but I’m wanting some. My questions are:

1. How does breeding work? .. I know that they come in many different colors so I’m wondering that if I buy a few that are all different colors if their chicks will be a mix of color or if they will just be one or the other. I don’t know

2. Are they good broody Mom’s?

3. I’ve heard the breed is friendly, is that true?

4. Are there any interesting facts about them I should know?

5. What is your favorite kind/color of Serama

Could be either way; a blending of colors or like either parent. Or a hidden color from the bird's background.

2. Are they good broody Mom’s?

Excellent, but because of their small size and shortened body, they are unable to brood many eggs.

3. I’ve heard the breed is friendly, is that true?

This depends on the line they come from. Mine are very friendly and docile; very trusting.

4. Are there any interesting facts about them I should know?

A shorter incubation period; 19-20 days. In genera they do not do well housed with other breeds. Can not tolerate temperatures below freezing for extended periods. Make excellent pets.

5. What is your favorite kind/color of Serama

I like the frizzles the best. As for color, this picture shows what I can't find words for.
