Any suggestions on where to purchase the serama breed. I'm in Maryland and wanted to add a few to my flock but need some guidance as to where I start? Thanks for any help

I have 4 2 roosters an 2 hens and I ai mine
but I've seen a few eggs on Ebay but did u try Greg's list I believe use call it I'll see if I can find the links to the eggs

i have not bought eggs from craigs list...i feel like it is more sketchy, at least where i live. the people on eBay are rated and it seems like its people who really just do this as a business so they care about their rep. shipped eggs can be tricky and i have friends who had sometimes almost none hatch but i have not had that experience. i have had satisfactory experience every time. i have gotten eggs at least 5 times...i try to get from as close to me as possible. i am in N. CA. and furthest was GA. i shoot for idaho, oregon, washington and so forth...they send (usually) instructions to get best results...let them rest for a day so insides settle, what temps (appprox) and so forth. like i said it is their business. CL can be flightly..IMO

Hello fellow Marylander!
If you'd like the "local skinny," and avoid shipping eggs, you can try posting your request on the Maryland thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/maryland-thread.63745/page-304
If you're willing to travel a bit, there are also threads for DE, PA and VA. You could ask there, as well.
Good Luck!
