Serama Candling - Day 7

Well, here's the progress so far:

23 eggs shipped
8 developing nicely
4 bloodrings
11 clear

They will come out of the turner on day 16, since they are Serama. Hopefully I'll have tiny little fluffballs with attitudes when all is said and done!!! The time is going waaayyyy too slowly!!!

Serama eggs are notoriously delicate and usually don't do very well when shipped. I hope your remaining ones make it.

Well, you are one-third of the way there! I would be pretty happy with 8, considering the reputation Seramas have for being difficult to hatch. You have planned yourself a Merry Little Christmas, haven't you? LOL

Oh, I'm very happy with 8! If even half of those hatch, that will be 4, and that's 4 closer to having a small breeding flock!!

Lynn, yes, I'm giving myself all kinds of gifts during this holiday season, aren't I?!!!! I'm not done, yet, though. After this I'm pretty sure I'm going to hatch some eggs from by beautiful little Ameraucana pullet. Of course, then there's the show in January. . . . LOL!!!
