Hi I'm new here I heard of a new breed of chickens called serama can anyone tell me were I can get some near clearfeld PA

Actually Seramas aren't new. They originated in Malaysia to be house pets, they are among the smallest breeds of chicken. They also make great house pets., because they do not need a lot of room, and tolerate confinement well. You can learn much more about them at the "Serama " thread, and learn about house chickens at " people with house chickens."
 
Hi I am in Indiana and I have Serama. A good place to go is (Serama Marketplace) They do have a lot of show quality birds but also pet quality. These are great birds friendly and easy to work with.

i do want to say that they are not winter hardy here and need to be inside with temp 40 degrees or higher. They do not have regular sealed feathering like normal chickens. Cold air gets under feathers and they can not stay warm.
