Serama Chickens

If it is illegal to have chickens where i live, would one or two malaysian serama hens really matter? Or would they be taken away and i would be fined? I live in a small neighborhood with an ok size yard (about 1/3-1/2 acres) and i am pretty sure it is illegal to have livestock on a residential area, where i live.

In my opinion, I would find out if chickens (hens and/or roosters) are legal or illegal. If illegal, try to see about making them legal. If they are illegal and you get caught with them, you would have to pay however you law states. Some places it might not be a big deal, but others might include fines, community service, or jail like anything else that is illegal. Some people are made examples of what happens when you break the law, so be careful and don't do anything illegal. I would hate to have chickens illegal to own, they brighten my bad days and make my good days better. I feel for you if chickens in general are illegal.
