So I have had Seramas here on the place for a while but just began to get serious about raising/breeding them. I bought 3 breeding trios and have them in raised pens with plenty of space. I'm looking to not only help keep them healthy and looking beautiful BUT I want to make sure I keep their egg cycle and produce up. Any tips on feed/feed mixes, calcium supplements (don't think the big chunks of oyster my big chickens eat will work) and a good grit suggestion.
Thanks

Standard procedure is an all flock or chick feed with oyster shell on the side, though with their size, an aviary calcium grit might be better.
My polishes get an ornamental crumb from nutrena, it might be good for serama as well.
Nothing you feed will make them lay and you want them to take their natural breaks in the lay cycle for their health.
