Don't take this as being rude or judgmental, but I do not understand why people like the "emo" look.

It does make you look older though.

Well, emo isn't really a look, that's just how I out it cuz I didn't know how else to say it. Emo is a person with usually with depression who likes dark things. I just call it 'a emo look' cuz I have no idea what else to call it.
It's just really opinion. Your opinion is probably more lighter things. My opinion is I like darker things. :3
Just gonna add this in, goth is different. Goth is a way you dress. Same with scene.

Speaking of fashion, I once saw a girl wearing a unicorn horn, a tutu, and rainbow colored hair and... um, somewhat nonexistent clothes.

I say pic 2, I know what you mean I'm not emo or goth by any means but my favorite color is black, and i like some what darker things, you kind of have to, to be a metal head.
