Serama hatch part 3 (and a few odds and ends!) Hatch a Long

Awww, good girl Dolly! Can’t wait to see who Atropos hatches out

Me either! But they switched nests. So now she is on dolly's eggs that haven't hatched yet (I am gonna candle either tonight or tomorrow night ), and she is on Atropos's eggs.

Lol. Atropos is a bit more grouchy than Dolly is. Dolly gets puffy but knows I won't bother her much.

Dolly adopted one of the other babies that was in there brooder. We also had one that hatched that won't stand Idk what to do. Poor baby. Legs work. Well. They kick and toes curl and everything.

Atropos has hatched 2 babies yall (but one is gone so we think it snuck through the opening somehow? Cause the others are fine). And the Seramas are good. Only lost 3 babies total (including the other babies). The other 3 Serama are still alive. I do believe one is a frizzle. I will have to provide pics later.

Second note. Charlene and Cinnamon are hoarding eggs and sitting on them. Idk what to do. Advice? They won't let me near em. Lol. I don't wanna get pecked.

Sorry you lost some babies, Elfen. Sounds like the rest are doing very well. Wow, a frizzle Serama! Please let us know when you post photos! What’s the Charlene/Cinnamon situation today? Have you been able to get close to the nest yet? If you need to get to those eggs… long sleeves, gloves, and eye protection are suggested! I wonder how many eggs they’re hoarding.
