I have a Serama hen with Fowl Coryza and have been reading up on treatments and found Tylosin for treating it, but I don't know how much to give her..... She is class B sized hen and I have the needle and tylosin injection, I just need to know how much to give her.....

I hope somebody comes along that can help you. Where do you live? It's after midnight where I am (east coast) and, if it's late where you are, you may not get a reply quickly. In that case, I would call a vet first thing in the morning and ask them about the dosage. I sure do hope your little hen gets better and that no others contract the disease. Wishing you the best.

I have a little bantam hen that I have been trying to treat. She has coryza too, her and her roo. He doesn't have near the symptoms she does, but he is smelly. I can't clear it up. I have no idea how they got it. I've had all the same birds together for 9 months. Everyone tells me I should cull them. Even if they get better they will make the rest of the birds sick. I haven't done it yet. It breaks my heart. I hope you have better luck then me!

Heres an update on the hen, she has been given tylosin in the right dosage, and she has cinnamin in the water and she is looking healthy, and OH YAH, I don't think she has coryza,

she doesn't stink, and she doesn't have any nasal discharge of any kind, nor did she ever,

so could anyone tell me what she does have? Her eye is puffy and swollen, but other than that the only other odd thing is that she has somewhat labored breathing.......
