I have my suspicions. Not sure of the age, guessing about 12-14 weeks. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

That big red comb. Serama hens have a small comb and it wouldn't be that red.

Here was my little roo when young

Here is him now.

Now if the hen was mature, she could have a comb like the one in your picture. Here is one of my mature black serama hens.

Becky, your roo is beautiful. The only reason I asked was because the only thing on the bird in question is the comb, which I do agree is a bit large. The bird was hatched on Aug. 22. Compared to its brother who is only 1 day older there is no comparison. He has a very large red comb twice as large at the one in question and also has beautiful saddle feathers and has been crowing for almost 4 weeks and is twice this ones size. No crowing yet either. But then all birds mature at their own rate. I am not 100 percent sure it is a roo. I guess only time will tell.
Thanks for your input.

Ok, is this the same person who first posted? I guess, we would need to see pictures of both birds(full body shots) and we would be able to tell better. Maybe it actually is a hen. It really is easier to tell with another in the pen to compare it to.
