Serama roo, trying to mate? or being just plain mean?

I brought a big girl in the pen to see if they got along ( I was watching making sure they dont fight) and he shuffled toward her... and tried to crow. and then she wouldent bend down for him to be started to peck at her so she walked away, and he shuffled toward her again and pecked her in the vent! she screamed and ran away...

was she tring it impress her? or is he just being mean.... see I think he was upset because shes a standard BR, and hes tiny.


Another thing..... Everytime he would try to go for the head, he would grab on her, and would just pull some head feathers out////?????

He's young, and doesn't have all his moves yet. THink of him as a teenage boy who has is trying to figure it all out. It is actually good to have him with an "older Lady" 'cuz she won't put up with his bumbling and agressive moves. It will take some time for him to perfect his "roosterliness".
