Serama Rooster needs a new home (Austin, TX)

Hi everyone! One of my babies found his voice this week. He's a 5 month old black and white speckled Serama. I wish I could keep him because he's sweet as can be, but I can't have a crowing rooster in my neighborhood.

 
Take a look into getting a No-Crow collar. It might work for you. If it doesn't hope you are able to find a good home for him.
 
If I remember correctly, I saw it on mypetchicken.com

From reviews I have read it does not actually stop them from crowing, but it restricts the amount of air in the air sac reducing the volume.
 
if done correctly it will stop all male traits... cockrels when grown out will exhibit hen type traits such as going broody! if any traces of the male organs are left in then yes it will continue to crow and exhibit male traits...
