Serama rooster with two tiny hens

How cute !! Im not sure what I have... i put eggs in same bator without marking them.. some were from Seabrights and some from Serama/red pyle..there's a picture on page one of this thread that shows the 3rd chick.. now that Ive seen your baby silver, I am certain it is from the Seramas. wonder if the twins could be Serama/OEM?? guess I have to wait and see.. Im leaning to Seabright Silver/Golden which would make them both roos...as if they were all silver they would be hens. I set 25 little eggs yesterday, hopefully I will get offspring from the poor little hen who must have gotten captured by Aliens, because I still cant figure out how anything got her out of the pen....

Sadly, this morning my Seabright rooster was dead....whatever had taken the hen came back, as I knew it would... I worried about him all day yesterday, and barracaded all sides of the pen, but not good enough. He wasnt pulled through the cage like the hen, but had a fatal injury by something with amazing dexterity and really long arms. Will definately have a Fort Knox style pen built for my bantam babies...I should have brought him in the house last night.. i was afraid he would get loose trying to catch him so I just braced plastic tote lids on all sides of the pen, but not good enough...I feel like a horrible mother...

AWW! I am so sorry!!! It sounds like it might have been a raccoon! Dont feel like a horrible mommy!! Raccoon's nicknames are "bandit".. alot of mommies are having problems with them lately!! I'd set a trap an get it away from your coops before it gets the others!

its making me nervous.. the red hen sat down on Monday and the white hen laid a few more eggs for a couple days then she sat down too... im hoping she quit laying. i hatched 8 of their babies the other day you cant believe how small they are.. here's a picture of one next to a barred rock... born same day.. (monday)

Update... i have been so busy i forgot to post the baby pictures... the hens hatched 12 out of 14 eggs, 2 days early, opened the box and it was filled with chicks... they are 2 weeks old tomorrow... i have noticed a few times the hens fighting a little, should I take the chicks and brood them the rest of the way? If not, how long should I leave them in there? Should I take one hen out? Im thinking take the chicks out. Any advice is appreciated and encouraged.. thank you in advance.
