Does anyone have any seramas crossed with pekins (or bantam cochins in the US)?
I ask because I have a serama pullet and a Pekin cockerel who have (somehow) managed to successfully mate and I was wondering what their offspring would be like.
If you cross one large chicken with one small, do you get middle sized chicks or some big and some small? Will the chicks from a serama and a Pekin be halfway between the two in terms of size? It's the size I'm really interested in because I want more very small chickens this year and was thinking of buying more fertile serama eggs online in spring.
By the way my serama is a B category size and my Pekin cockerel is quite large for his breed, maybe 800g.
