I dont know if I necessarily agree with that statement that Serama eggs "rarely" hatch when shipped. I have had very good hatch rates with my shipped eggs to peeps here at BYC...I have also had zero hatch rates - but considering how fragile these eggs can be, I really am proud of my hatch rates (and return customers).....
Of course, finding some nice quality Seramas in your area would be the best bet - but dont NOT consider buying eggs from a reputable breeder and having them shipped.
