Welcome! 2 years ago I didn't know either.

A pullet is a female chicken, under 1 year of age. At 1, she magically becomes a hen!

Likewise, young boy chickens are cockerels until they reach 1, when they become roosters.

Any recommendations on who would be best to keep? The one I knew was a roo was a pretty chocolate brown as a younster and now is changing with dark undertones he is very sweet too? Does anyone know the name of his color? I also like the one that is a millie color, but I don't think I should keep that one because of the comb?
Any advice?
I will

Thanks everyone!

The weird comb I see there just looks like a side-spring, unless it is actually on both sides of the comb. . . I wouldn't breed it. It is indeed genetic and passes on. It is a Disqualification in shows, too.

I agree, 3 boys - 1 girl and I'm curious about diapers too

Mine are going to be house Seramas so I definitely need some!

Can I ask how old they are? I have a brooder full of Seramas right now so I'm wondering about the combs. They all look like girls now lol which I know would be too good to be true. The oldest is 4 weeks, the youngest 2 weeks.
