All I have read says that Seramas may not get there true color til several months old (6 or more) after molting.
You can tell obvious defects that should not be bred like the funky comb. He will still be nice pet.
Also you won't know their full size til at least 6 months and they will grow/mature more after that, just slower than the first 6 months..
