Serama's - Hens or Roosters???

Serama pullets will generally have practically no comb when very young, as the get older they may have a tiny comb, but the size difference is usually evident when compared to hatch mates.

I'll just have to wait, it's probably too soon to tell. I think the little roosters were about a month old then their combs were still very small but were turning red.

I need to be writing this stuff down as they grow so I'll know with the next ones. I got my eggs from a neighbor, Judy McKinney. Her Serama's are from eggs she bought from someone in the group here. She's on vacation but has someone saving eggs back for me now so I'll try for more. By spring, I should have a nice trio.
