All his brothers and sisters lived outside in the big tractor and were fully feathered, but he was still in the brooder with friends that were getting bigger than him.
We only had one serama hatch out along with some bantam cochins. I have a cabinet incubator with new hatches every week. The chicks move from bin to bin as they get older/bigger until they sell or move outside.
The little serama stayed in with the newly hatched batch for about 2 months before moving up. It was like having a tee tiny mommy in there with each new batch, the serama would show the other littles what to do and how to eat and drink from the nipples. It was SOOO sweet.
