seramas

packing was excellent, i recieved 15 and non were cracked or broken. On day 10 candled and tossed 3. Well day 18 came, i candled and tossed 3 more then set them in the hatcher, im using a still air little giant. Humidity was good 70 to 80ish and temps were steady. I had one pip then stop. Nothing else from the rest of them. *sighs* i opened them up on day 23. 2 still had the yolk so they must have died a few days before hatcing time. the rest fully developed, healthy looking chicks (other than being dead)......but.........they were so tightly packed into the shells i had to almost pry them out. They had plenty of slimy stuff so they did not get stuck in there from it being to dry. *sighs

I know that broodies do much better in hatching eggs, so i will most definitly wait till i have some to get eggs. Hopefully some will have eggs available at that time.

other chicken eggs i dont have this problem with, i usually get at least a few to hatch from shipped eggs, its just very disheartening to see all those little babies go to waste.
