Yup! This is my first ever order to a hatchery and I'm pretty excited!
I just paid for my order through Privett of...

- 5 Blue Wyandotte Pullets
- 5 Blue Wyandotte Straight Run
- 5 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Pullets
- 5 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Straight Run
- 5 Delaware Pullets

I told my husband I was done after I made that order. They aren't shipping until June 8th, unless something comes up and they can ship early. How do you guys suffer the long wait? Oh, I have an idea of what I am going to do....
I noticed the incubators are on sale at TSC. I want Lavender Orpingtons yet... So, either incubate or buy some here and there from TSC and Agway! It'll be my first time incubating and I don't know if I am ready for that.

Congrats!!!

I ordered mine back in January and just got them last week. Then I have a smaller order coming in 3 weeks. So I will have waited 4 months by the time they get here. It hasn't been easy because I am not the most patient person!

Wow... What a long wait. I will have to remind myself that it's only 2 months and I have 61 others to keep me busy.

We ordered ours in February and they came this week. It was a very long wait, but we marked the calander each day.

I ordered my in December and they came 2 weeks ago. It is hard... my husband just listens to me ramble. I notice you love wyandottes

! They are pretty birds! I have plans in the future to incubate some red laced blue.

Wow and I thought I have been waiting a long time! We ordered our first ever batch of 12 chicks on March 23rd from our local Mackey's (the had the lowest minimum order around) and I had my fiance call yesterday and ask where the heck they are. They just go down the list and distribute them as they come in. The first batch had come in last week and didn't include us

. All they were able to say was that we should get ours no later than April 25th, so I will have waited a whole month. I don't feel so badly now seeing how long some others of you have waited!

I love the colors, and I am not much for feathered feet or I would have gotten Cochins. My original list was only 5 breeds and Wyandottes was on the list. My list has had a few added and I now have way more than I expected!
But, yeah, once I saw pics of the Blue Wyandottes and the Blue Laced Reds, I had to have some!

I am hoping to add some Lavender Orpingtons next year. I decided I didn't want to tackle incubating in my first year.
I'd like some true Araucanas, too... And some Iowa Blues... I hope my husband still loves me after all of this.

^^ The wait is hard, we are getting some Polish at the end of May and it's driving me nuts xD The hardest part.
