Met up with one of my relative's neighbours at their insistence. My uncle was all "You two will really hit it off, you have a lot in common, you're both obsessed with birds for one.." apparently they all call her the "crazy chicken lady"
So today we went over to their place, me completely under the impression she's probably got a huge chicken shed or that kind of equivalent, in the end she tells me she's got "Six hens and counting!", including a bird which "you'll never believe until you see" (white silkie hen) And I'm supposed to call her the chicken expert...

Wait til she comes to my place next week...

I had the grand-daughter of a friend over, and the 10 year old spotted the Silkie. Her eyes got big and she asks "What's that grandma?"

She wanted one after that. But her Grandma already had over 60 chickens.
