Sesame
Weight: 11.4oz
Hatched: January, 2011

Sesame is a smooth Mille-Fleur Searama hen. She is coming out of molt and her tail feathers are in, but not long enough yet. She is currently broody (on air!) and is from the pairing of Napoleon and Brownie. Please email me if you have questions rather than post to the auction as you will get a faster response that way.

EDITED at 6:30 am 09.23.11 Please see the post below concerning the availability of Sesame!

We only ship within the continental US. No shipping to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Guam or the Philippines. We do not sell to anyone under the age of 18. My flock is NPIP and AI certified and we ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only, using a new Bio-Filtered, USPS Approved Box and Express Shipping from South Carolina with food and water for each bird. Shipping costs are as follows:

$55 - 1 bird
$65 - 2 birds
$90 - 3-4 birds

Payments are made by PayPal only, please, to [email protected]. We do not take E-Checks or money orders. You do not need a PayPal account in order to send payment, and there is no charge to you. I will send an invoice from PayPal at the close of auction, then you can reply with payment. Payment is expected within 24 hours from receipt of the invoice or else the bird will be offered to the next highest bidder. Nothing will be shipped until full payment is received.

The USPS no longer offers a money-back guarantee on the express shipment of live animals. Once live birds leave us, there will be no refunds due to late postal deliveries. These things are out of our control.

I am doing this as a post, rather than an edit, so it will be more obvious to all concerned...I had a raccoon attack at 4:30 this morning, and Sesame got her comb torn in the attack. The coon apparently was able to grab her by the comb, but she managed to pull free, tearing her comb in the process. She is now inside with me, is eating and drinking (!), but does have a torn comb. I applied Wonder Dust to stop the bleeding and gave her Rescue Remedy to help with anxiety. She seems fine, aside from the bleeding comb

Obviously, I will not sell/ship an injured bird, but I'm unsure how to proceed with the auction from this point on...I can post some photos later today, but I still will not ship her anywhere for at least another week. So, I'm "releasing", so to speak, all the current bidders from any obligation to purchase Sesame. If anyone has any questions about the auction, please email or PM me. Thanks!
