I totaly agree with highlander leave the baby in to play with the eggs it will help the others hatch. im so pleased for you! hoping for a friend now

3 eggs hatched and another on the way! So far all but 3 more eggs, 1 I am thinking won't and 1 silkie egg that I haven't given up hope on.

Yeah, had to take one out for bullying the silkie. Quick question do I need to take the shell pieces of the silkie? She has a few stuck to her. Or when she dries will they fall off. It's been less then an hour since we took the first out. Also wanted to take a few of the shells out since they keep tripping on them.
And will get pics.

Does it still have yolk? Honestly I don't think there's anything you can do but leave it in there to rest and just wait and see. I had the same situation with the 2 ducklings and I only took them out of the incubator yesterday. They needed the extra time to get stronger.

I don't know...her shell was pretty bloody. Also we were watching and barely breathing. We took her out and gave her a bit of sugar water. She is now up and busy. That stuff really helped. We put her back in the incubator. Now that she has had water will she need more? Or will she be okay for a few more hours in the bator?
