You're right - it is early, and they're not due till tomorrow. Like I said, I'm just getting impatient. I love watching them hatch. I've been known to sit up all night and watch them. DH thinks I'm nuts.

Domestic_goddess - You're doing just fine. I think 65-70% is right there where you want to be.

lol..I think mine are early cuz they are tiny eggs..I dunno..good luck with your hatches. this is so addicting. I am putting in 24 americauna eggs for when these are out :)

I still just have the 2 pips and they haven't changed at all. I'm still so surprised that these EEs are starting to hatch. I set them just before midnight on the 9th so I thought they would start Friday afternoon.

Hoping we all have great hatches throughout today and tomorrow.
Here are my 2 pips. I know they aren't as cute as chicks, but still pretty exciting:

Now have 4 pips! Hope that last one isn't a "rotten egg"!

The pips all look the same, but I would guess there might be babies by morning.

How is everyone else doing? Anything new?

Set my eggs 3/10. No pips or peeping or much of anything. I have a feeling my incubators are running a little low. It's strangely hard to tell in Brinseas because the temperature varies so much from the top of the egg to the bottom of the egg. If I am honest it was always easier in my Hovabator.

I arrived home from work tonight to find my temp at 104!!!!!!! ???????my temp has not fluctuated this whole time! I just don't understand what happened...it was a cool day in Nebraska today so it couldnt have been that the house got too hot etc...I am so nervous that I cooked em, Thinking about candling a few but am nervous to open incubator.....no pips, no wiggles...nothing ....:(

They can deal with greater temperature spikes in both directions when they are later in incubation... So I wouldn't be worried. Also at this stage they are giving off some of their own body heat so that might be why?
