Set 86 Eggs Tonight *FORTY-FOUR Hatched--Hatch Over *

Know what you mean about slow starts, none of us at my house had a decent meal until 2pm on our big hatch day.
Enjoy.

Here you go, Sue, a SLW baby.

Is there any way to tell?

No, can't tell yet. Only possible clue might be if one had much thicker legs than the other.

Okay, is this splash or very light blue? It's a deeper color on the back than the known splash Rock.

In this pic, it's top left, just beside the first splash--in this pic, it looks blue, but it's so light!

Wow you must be feeling energetic Cynthia. That is a lot of eggs and a lot of chicks.

My Barred Rocks I got from you are still doing great and this is their 3rd year. I have been hatching like crazy. And my Barred Easter Egger from you lays the largest green egg out of all my green egg layers. She is with an Easter Egger Rooster and just put some of her eggs in the bator today. Can not wait to see what they look like.

I am doing very well. Been very busy. My wife has had some health issues, so not as much time to be on BYC.

I do recommend BYC to everyone who comes to purchase chickens from me.

My Barred Rocks from you are great!

I still have Meg's daughter. She is beautiful and the best mom. She hatched out 3 set of chicks last year and I am waiting for her to go broody this year.

I had Suede's Son here, but without any females, I opted to sell him. He was a lover. A lady and her son came to purchase some chickens and the boy fell in love with the big blue roo because he sat on the boy's lap. They still have him and the mom says she has no idea what the child will do if /when the rooster dies.

I did notice you hathced some D'Anvers. My Robin Hood (rescue bird from BIRDLOVER) passed away this past winter. I don't have the heart to change my avatar.

I see you still do not have any Silkies

Have a blessed day!

I can't tell you how happy that makes me, to know you still have Meg, Jr! And my big Suede always did produce the most calm, sweet sons, so that doesn't surprise me a bit.

Sorry to hear about your little man. He was so darn cute. Hope your wife is on the upswing soon. Miss seeing you around BYC!

Once you are rested and have a minute, I would love to see pics of your BBS rock group.

I hatched out some of these little buggers from Halo 3 weeks ago and just love them! It would be fun to compare yours to mine.

So very sorry to hear about your dog. I hope it's a temporary problem and she rallies and feels better soon.
