Yes, my little gdaughter (4yo) has been watching the eggs for the last 3 weeks with me. She also went with me when I picked them up at the PO. Now she gets to see them hatch. She loves life at the farm. All of my gbabies do.

Congrats on all of the hatches! It is fun. I'm getting my first coop (4x12 ) rehabbed for this group of chicks. My big coop (8x40)is already in use.

The chicks are doing great this morning! Figured out how to add a couple pictures...............

Yesterday 9 am

Today 9 am

One of our Silkies has been sitting for over a week on non-fertile eggs so I slipped the chicks under her last night just after dark. I checked on them several times before bed.

All is well as you can see in the pic.

That was the good news......

The bad news is today is day 21 on my shipped eggs and no pips yet.

I'm up to 9 pips!! oh course everytime I try to take a pic, it never shows the pip, have to wait until somebody decides to zip, which i think is going to happen soon, I have one making a lot of noise.
Don't this chicks know I'm waiting for them to hatch??

I really hope these last 3 shipped eggs hatch. Been waiting since October to get these eggs, I'm going to be sooooooo disappointed if they don't hatch. I seem have the worst luck with shipped eggs. I'm starting to think there's a jerk at my post office.

Really wish I could find someone close enough to me with nice Orps so I can go buy some right out of the hen. LOL

I have been wanting orphington's for a long time. Don't have the room right now, cause my son also shows pigs.

BUT, when he is all done w/ 4H in a few years, I am really gonna do my little barn right so I can have lots of chickens

and orphington's will be 1 of them
