Set eggs 3/17.... Anyone else?

I went in to check on eggs, only one had a crack that kinda looked like pacman.
Mom came in and I told her not to open the bater, but she decided she wanted to hear one peck from the inside. She ended up dropping it a foot onto the hardwood floor.... I held back tears long enough to push her out of my room and lock the door. There were a few small cracks and I was so upset I peeled a small piece off to see if it was still alive. I am happy to say it moved and I could see it breath through the membrane. It's back in the bater and I can still see movement. Holding my breath over here. Please pray for us.

Oh no, hopefully she was close enough to make it i know my 4 kids wont hardly leave theroom i have ages 6 and under went to town and we all watched the third come out so much fun the kids have forgotten all about Easter lol one is super close

I set at 5 pm on Saturday the 17th... So tomorrow is day 21... I now have two pips!!!!! I want to keep watching them all night! I hope I wake up to a bator full of chicks!

Dropped egg is dead.... I feel defeated. The chick was so pretty, but not moving, breathing, or heartbeat. Duct taping bator closed and putting signs on that say keep out now... Gonna go work and come back in an hour or so.
Good Luck to everyone else

08:00, 4 hours to set time 3 Saturday's ago, we've got 5 chicks out and one zipping and many pips. Little noisy buggars woke me at 5 AM, it's going to be a long day...17 more to go.

I'm sorry :(

We have 10, we may leave one to fluff up but will be moving the others. No other pips though :(

Patients pays off!!! Five black babies with yellow markings, and one golden. Golden and a black with yellow didn't make it, but I still have 4 black and yellow babies for now. Two or three eggs still rocking with peeping and cracking noises.

Yay! How many eggs did you have? I have like 15 I think I lost :( But my 10 are healthy and DH was laughing at how they are running towards me when I start speaking.

I hear cheep cheep but not seeing any cracks. I was a full day behind so this is expected hatch day.

How'd you all make out on your hatches? Ours was fair, not great but the kids really enjoyed them popping out like corn Saturday. Overall I'd say my temp was right on. A few stared piping 24 hours early with 4 hatching 12 hours early, last one hatched almost 12 hours past set time and still have one working on it's pip 24 hours late.

With our own birds eggs we collected over a 2 week period we'd set 20, 17 went to lock down and so far 12 hatched with one pipping. 60% success with one still pipped.
Shipped eggs; started with 14, 7 went to lock down and 3 hatched. 21% success.

Of the Blue Plymouth Rocks have 2 splash and a black. With any luck one of those splash is a cockerel.

We finger nail polished a toe tip to tell which they are for now, will use a twist tie when they are a bit older. They just look so fragile with those tiny new legs.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I check back,

Happy hatching.

Quick pic for now:
