I set eggs under my broody hen on Sunday(March 9th). She left the nest for a while on Sunday and Monday, but hasn't left them at all after that. They are mutt eggs from my neighbor, he has multiple breeds if hens and roosters, so who knows who they came from! They're under my buff Orpington. I plan on letting her hatch and raise them. I'm a week in, and I candled yesterday. One is blue, and I really couldn't see much. The other three have veins! I will be candling again on like Wednesday of this week. So is anybody else hatching at about the same time?
