Temps are running solid, but I'm going to attempt my first ever dry hatch. I have four duck eggs in the 'bator.

Well, here's my total -

4 Muscovy eggs
1 Random egg from the yard Skylar wanted me to hatch
10 Hatch - hopefully at least 5 make it to lock down because they're sold!

I'll join in too. I just set 5 barnvelderes, 5 Lavender orpingtons, 5 assorted marans and 2 buff orpingtons on Friday.

Such a wide hatch we have going on here! Can't wait to see everyone's pictures! I had a bad hatch my last time out due to humidity issues... But hopefully this time we will have better luck.

Can I join in? I set 21 Black Copper Marans eggs and 6 mix breed(a Black Copper Roo is the daddy) eggs last night at 11PM. I'm looking forward to this hatch! I've wanted Marans for a long time and this is my second time incubating. My last hatch I got 3 sweet Indian Runner Duck babies - they are still in the brooder. Good Luck everyone!!!

I actually dont know anything else about them except that the person I got the eggs from to hatch hasnt been able to hatch any of the pheasnt eggs so far but he keeps trying . He isnt shure if the male has the hang of things or what. I havent been able to candle these eggs there way to dark so I have no idea how Im gonna tell if there is anything growing in them at day 7-14 or so when I will candle them all to see how there doing. I will ask him the next time I think about it if he knows what breeds he has of what. =) Im hopeing and praying that these pheasnt eggs hatch other wise we might need to get him another male :hmm :hmm
