Well guys looks like another bad hatch for me

I put 16 BLRW eggs in to hatch and only had 3 hatch? I'm not sure what the heck is going on. I also just tried the Float text thing and only had one sinker which they say are duds and never developed...well not true I opened the sinker and it was a fully developed chick. So I'm not so sure about the whole water test thing now but I put the other 12 back in I guess I'll give them another day. I wouldn't get so mad if the chicks were not going full term but I just can't figure it out?

Just have the 5 cochins and 3 silkies that were from the 3-18 hatch. All are 1 week old and have wing and tail feathers already !!!!!!!!!! My gosh do they grow fast. All are doing well. Getting ready to set more either this weekend or the coming week. So will keep you updated. Hope everyone else is trekking along with their babies. Love all the pictures. They are all so adorable. I love baby chicks !!!!

I know my 3 babies are growing fast too!

bayvista - cute as pie pictures alongside the flowers. Nice setup for them in your barn. Mine loved having all the extra room to run around and act like clowns LOL

Nikki, I have 2 Hovabator 1602N with no fans that might be my problem? But I use 1 for Incubating and 1 for hatching. I try to keep the Temp at 100 and the humidity at 45% when I'm Incubating and the hatcher I keep at 100 degrees and 65% humidity. This is all what I was told by a friend and he has been having like 90% hatch rate and me like 20-40% hatch rate? I put 7 Developed eggs in to hatch on lastweek and only had 3 hatch and the other 4 I opened and they were fully developed but dead? (I will add that was my fisrt time Incubating)...but still. I put 16 in to hatch this past thursday and only had 3 hatch? and 1 died the second day=Today=RIP lil chickie=

Anyways I give them 50hrs overdue and opened them and all 13 were fully developed but dead???

I have 4 going in the hatcher tommorrow so I really need to figure out what's going on??? Any ideas or tips would be great!!! Thanks

I think a fan is a MUST! Keeps everything more stable. Also. I keep my humidity 55-65 until day 19 and then up it to 75-80. Works much better!
