Set Eggs This Morning 7/22 !!! Who Is With Me???

I'm in, I set 14 of my silkie eggs and 12 silkie eggs from oldtimegator, 13 of my blue eggs. 39 in all last night at 9:15pm. Losts of good luck to all. The postman said his car got up to 103 I'll just have to see what happens.

Candle four more days doing good.

Has anyone candled? I think I'm all alone. Candled today 4 of mine look good 6 of the shipped eggs look good and 11 of my blue eggs look good. Only one clear blue egg maybe I can't count. Lost my rooster and most of my best hens yesterday to two dogs. That will be great if any of these shipped egg hatch. Come on! Mama needs new babies.

Okay.. Out of 34 shipped Serama eggs, I candled on Day 5 and had 31 developing... candled last night (Day 9) and I have 28 still going strong. I can't really candle the button quail eggs since they are WAY smaller than my light and I don't have a smaller one. I have 13 drk campbell duck eggs arriving early this week so they'll be goin in on Wednesday I think. I'm hopeful!! I'll post pics of the button quail eggs if they hatch. They go into lockdown on Wednesday morning... so fun!

31 out of 34 shipped eggs in this heat is crazy.

I haven't candled.

I incubate in a Sportsman (cabinet) and I usually just wait and candle when I transfer them to the hatcher on day 18. I am really excited about these eggs, so maybe I will take a peek tomorrow.

My duck eggs came yesterday. 4 intact aircells 9 ruptured but last time I did duck eggs they were local and 4 still had ruptured air cells so I don't know what is normal for duck eggs. We'll see how it goes I guess

Okay. So far I have 7/14 button quail (so cute and little!!)

My 28 serama eggs went into lockdown this evening which was actually day 18 1/2 I think. Maybe we'll see something by Tuesday!!!

So hopeful. For the first time I've just let the turner even out and unplugged it. I know a few people that let their chicks hatch form the unplugged turner so we'll see... Come on little guys!!! I've never hatched seramas before so I'm nervous.. Of the dark campbell duck eggs that I set last Tuesday I only have 2 that are going strong with healthy little vascular systems

I have 3 that I can't quite tell if they are progressing or not. Time will tell.

Can't wait to see pics or hear progress! I'll try and post some button pics tomorrow.

Locked my keys out of the van this morning and had to walk to my friend's house from the Chiro with all 4 kids... After spending the afternoon there, we came home to a little friend

so cute!! 28 eggs total. 1 hatched 4 pipped 23 still to go. Day 19 today.

Here is one of the buttons from yesterday
