I set my first eggs today. Now I wait.

Now my question: My A&Ms have all but stopped laying. they are about 8 weeks old. It has been over 100 degrees every day for over a week. Nothing else has changed in their keeping over the past few weeks. Do I just wait?

I would try something to cool them down, perhaps a bowl of water and a bowl of wet sand for them to bathe in. I spray down the alum. roof of the pen with a water hose on hot days to.
hope the breeze gets to you.

What are you feeding them? There is a big debate on this, but I know for mine, they started laying much better after I switched them to a higher protein feed.

The eggs have started again! It has been cooler the past few days and I added some shade cloth on the East side of the coop where the quail are. Not sure which thing made a difference but am glad to be getting eggs again.
