Set some eggs just now, due date 20th July.... anyone else setting just now? Hatch-Along

mine were due the 20th but only pipped yesterday afternoon....I rushed them some the one that's out of the shell has a little bit of an opening...so they could have gone another day...I think at some point they must have cooled or something to delay their due date...so don't take after me...sit on your hands!! and breath!! lol

Ugh, I'm second guessing myself too. Today makes 21 days as I set them on the first but it was late at night so from the first to the second makes one day. Following the math makes the 21st the the 22nd day 21. I hope an extra day of higher humidity won't hurt them.....

No news at my end, and have just entered day 22. :/

We had to put down the assisted hatch this morning. My fault, or bad genes from a different roo that I have (he did have a rough start after 1 month age, & he is blind in one eye) I should have waited longer. The other 2 eggs that never hatched were in the wrong position. So I was just seeing things when I thought I saw internal pips. Doing one more clutch for Aug. then I'll be done for awhile. So that makes 14/18 still alive... So far. All my pics are in the July Hatch A Long thread roo to hen & their biddies. Post #1145

Thanks for the pictures and update on the other topic Gen.
I'm sorry about the assisted hatch - its such a shame but at least you gave it a fighting chance and a little feel of what life is like - rather than it struggling in the egg - you did the right thing.

24 hours since the eggs moved.....now a new one is at it. Still no pips.....

we set our eggs on the 1st so today 7/22/2013 is day 20...mine aren't moving yet...I forgot them until last night so they haven't had much humidity...hope they're okay...I've forgotten them before and they were still in the turner with low humidity and they hatched so fingers crossed
