Set some eggs just now, due date 20th July.... anyone else setting just now? Hatch-Along

we set our eggs on the 1st so today 7/22/2013 is day 20...mine aren't moving yet...I forgot them until last night so they haven't had much humidity...hope they're okay...I've forgotten them before and they were still in the turner with low humidity and they hatched so fingers crossed

when I had my eggs stored I turned them religiously 3x a day sometimes more. This next batch for Aug, I forgot to turn them, maybe a day or two went by, no turning or I'd remember to turn them but it would be about 1x a day. I really hope they still hatch. Some air cells are far off center, almost to the side. 3 of them are like that

so I don't think I'm going to have a good hatch next month. I'll be surprised if I have any hatch

Wouldn't it be day 21? I set mine on the 1st too. I like your math better though lol. Gives me hope for mine because there's nothing going on over here!

No news at my end, and have just entered day 22.

Driving home today! DH swears there are no new chicks, but he is really hard of hearing and he sent me a pic of the wrong nest box! So we will see-- my Broody started on either a TH or Friday 3 weeks ago and it is Monday so surely there should be some progress by now? ...
And Congrats to all of you with the fluffy butts!!

At long last I have 1 pip! I feel so much better now.....but I have a question. The chick is not peeping at all. The egg is moving a lot and its chipping away but no sound. Is that ok? My last hatch was full of peepers. Even the eggs that quit on me made sounds.

so how is your hatch? did you get the message about my math? I was trying to message from my phone!! I was figuring we set on the 1st so the 2nd is the first full day...so the 22 would be 20 days! I had a pip when I got home last night...zipped out by 11 30 pm...the other is pipped and chirping a little at the hatched one but not rocking like it's zipping yet!! it's just amazing to watch!!
I had lavender orps hatch the other day...they were shipped eggs...all but 1 has died...I wish the breeders wouldn't inbreed their birds!! I don't

I was reading that after the external pip the chick's lungs are adapting to outside air. Some of mine didn't peep, just got down to business zipping away. How is the chick now?

I'm on day 20 here. I'm a wreck over the hatch. No sounds or anything!! Temp's between 99 and 100 and my humidity is at 89.

WHOA that is high! Have you done this before?
