It's alive and squirming to get it's butt free. Do I still need to do the teacup?

So my baby I had to help out earlier is still attached to the shell by the cord. It's almost dried out but it can't do anything but squirm around with the shell still there. I'm afraid that this might kill it. Do I leave it or cut the cord?

I am not sure, if I could do it over again I would have put mine in a cup & keep it in there as long as possible

Had 3 chicks hatch today and 2 yesterday from my hens beeing broody,seems the next few days are gonna be busy as i have about 45 more eggs under my hens!

so today iv got 3 embryo's and veins

the 2 that were visible yesterday have strong heartbeats that i can actually see moving in the egg its so cute and exciting. the egg on my picture is the one i was convinced was infertile but last night i noticed a little embryo but then seen the red smudge next to it. this to me looks like a blood ring its hard to tell by this pic but what do u guys think?

I think it looks okay but the rule is when in doubt put it back in the bator!! and I never decide anything before 10 days
