so true!!I'm so glad that everyones hatch is moving along and producing babies. Good job everyone! I've learned this time around that hatching is so simple that it is the hardest thing ever! In theory: egg + temp+ humidity + 21 days = chick. Nope! Egg + temp + humidity+ 20-who-knows + worry worry worry + last minute problems = chicks if you're lucky lol. Everyone is doing so well though congrats!
Had one necked neck hatch, think its turken and game not sure yet,may have to post pic see what yall this.

I did clip the cord this morning. He is up and about. Not ready to come out of the bator yet though.![]()
I had a funny smell in the incubator so I took out and candled the remaining 11 eggs. There were no signs of life at all. So I went ahead and did eggtopsy on them. I had three fully formed chicks that were already dead. Four that were embryos. And the rest were not fertile. No signs of veins and all. I'm very glad I didn't wait until day 25 to do it. My house probably would have stunk.
Seeing this made my day! As first timers, we seem to get into this not expecting a whole lot to happen then things always don't turn out the way we thought! You had an excellent hatch! Congrats!!
