Set Ten Eggs Under Nugget

First broody of the year, my Buff Orpington hen, Nugget, who was hatched from eggs Jody sent me. She was broody last February, too. My Barred EE, Riley, is threatening, but hasn't stayed on a nest yet. Wish Nugget luck! They're due about March 15.

Under Nugget are:

5 BBS Orpingtons
2 Delawares
2 Barred Rocks
1 Blue Orp x RIR/Buff Orp (Meg's)

I'm jealous! I want to hatch barred rocks this year. They are on my short list. I'm actually getting ready to fire up the new incubator with some trial run eggs. If all goes well maybe I'll order some BRs. I want stripey chickens!

She's so unsettled, being in a different broody pen than she was last year. Keeps getting off then on the eggs. Hope by tomorrow, she's sticking tighter to the nest.
