awesome.....but once again....I still have nothing!

The wife is going to call if anything starts to happen....when and if it ever starts?
 
They are Barnevelders. Took me two years to finally pick one breed and that is what I went with :-)
 
The most important reason is because they are friendly, even the roosters (I have two kids). After that, it was because they are quite, they lay brown eggs, have a high egg production, are dual purpose (can be eaten) and can get broody (I don’t always want to hatch the eggs). Finally, they are pretty with a unique feather pattern. So they pretty much fit the bill for all of my “wants”.
