Setting 8 Serama eggs *** HATCHING WITH PICS LOTZ OF PICS ****

Well my incubator was not working right, so a very nice lady down the street, that has an incubator, just set my 8 little serama eggs today. I hope that I get eight little itzy bitzy chickens in a couple of weeks. I will keep you up to date on their progress.

Ok end of day one. Nothing to report... Won't candle them until the end of day 4.

Well Day Two under our belt... Nothing to report. 2 more days till candle.

Well at the end of day 3.. I still have 8 eggs... Tomorrow we candle!!!!

I got a phone call this morning from my friend who is working on my eggs..


She said she candled them this morning...


And she wanted to report......



That ALL 8 ARE DEVELOPING!!!!!!

I will be going over there this afternoon and will try to get some pics!

Well End of day 4 and All is well!!! Got my good news that all 8 are developing. I had to stop by and check on them today (and pick up some more eggs) Here is a pic of my 8 little bitty Serama eggs in my friends homeaid bator.

( I have plans for it if anyone wants.. It was in a book called " Raising Poltury the Modern Way" by Leonard Mercia)
