how long do the ducks take to hatch? can't wait to see pics of the babies

It has been awhile since I have hatch ducks but I think it is 28 days.
 
what age do the combs start to develop? sorry on chicks not ducks

I have had some combs come in as early as 4-5 weeks of age. By the time they are fully feathered you should be able to tell. I have some that are just fully feathered I will go look and see what I have and take some pics for you.
 
that would be so cool. thanks jen. i just candled all my eggs to make sure there were no cracks. all of my orps and speckled sussex were fine but 5 of the salmon faverolles were cracked. i tossed them. i really don't want a stink bomb and the cracks were pretty bad:( i know some have luck with the cracked ones but i didn't want to chance it. gonna put the rest in the bator in the am.
 
you barely give a guy a chance to knock the eggshells out of the bator. Good thing i use a hatcher:plbb.But I'm ahead of you. I set 16 bourban red turkey eggs last friday, so they will be hatching the 6th
