Indeed we are! I just watched an EE come busting out as the zipped shell came splitting open. We are up to 6 out of the shell! I put 4 of them in the brooder to give the new kids more room. All of the ones in the brooder are eating already!
Aww, love that last pict.

In that case, how about another

Seven pips....no one has burst forth yet. Pretty concerned about the first one....no actual hole, shell poped off and just see membrane. Laid and small piece of wet paper towel over it just now....maybe that will keep it from drying out. Would not worry if I could see movement and there was an air hole. Still hear it. Incubator getting pretty loud with all the peeping!

Temp spiked to 102 with all the action.....if it goes up any .10 from here I am going to turn it down. Humidity is 70%. I think we are okay for now.....maybe....I hope....I think....could be.....

Delmar....you are on your way!! Pretty, pretty fuzzy butt.....(Mrs. Delmar did good with the photos)

Ok....I will just come in here and post all by myself! I now have 10 pips.....and no chicks yet. You get to a point where you think you will be happy if just one hatches.

They hatch when they hatch.....but it sure is gonna be a full bator when they finally zip and hatch!

Uhhhmmmmm..... I might have a problem and would love to hear from ya'll ASAP.

So today is lock down day....I was just turning the eggs one last time and candling them before lock down....about to add some more water for humidity (still fan hova bator) and I heard cheeping. I waited incase it was the brds out side but I heard it another 2 times before deciding it was an egg. Should I turn all the eggs back to the O side since I just turned them to the X? Also, I have one egg out of the 7 that was off kilter....it wouldn't stay on the new side and rolled back to the I side....would this possible the cheeping culprit?

Temps might have been running around 101 so I guess they could be early. 2 of the eggs are small spitzhauben eggs, the other a little bit larger, but not by much BLRW eggs.

As soon as you can help that would be wonderful, I'd hate to break the pipping process.....also I haven't added the water yet....warm it up and add it or leave it now?
